Taito is adding a red and green Koopa shell to their "Tojudai" series of over-sized plushes. Marios and Yoshis were in previous sets. The shells are nearly 17" long! These will release in late October in Japan.
Ensky has created a lovely little Kirby wind chime, available for pre-order at AmiAmi for 1130yen. Being so cheap might lead you to believe the wind chime isn't worth it,but the materials state that it's made of ceramic, paper, and polyester. According to the other pic at AmiAmi, the big Kirby will be ceramic. Coming in mid-July.
Splatoon is a hit! These promo hats are popping up on ebay, and it appears that they were given out at the Nintendo World Store in New York for the launch event. If anyone knows of anywhere else they were given out, like at the Nintendo World Championships this weekend, let me know. However, the NWC2015 does not appear to have much, if any, merch.
Bushwick2002 has informed me that certain Gamestops got these as promos, along with some employees as gifts. Thanks for letting me know!
$80 will net you this official luxury bathrobe. Comes in medium or large, and Merchoid will pay for shipping anywhere in the world. Wow. "If you’re under 5’8″ go for size M. If you’re 5’9″ or above, go for size L". Sound advice.
A while back, we started a thread to ask the toy companies we like to buy from our questions. The following questions were those our members compiled, along with several more. K'NEX has responded first, so let's take a look! Hit "Read More" to see the interview!
A Captain Toad Lamp, where Toad's headlamp lights up, has been spotted on a Club Nintendo announcement regarding them working on a new Club Nintendo. The other items on the flyer (after the break) have been seen. No other real details, but I'll update as we learn more.
Buy the game, get a squirt gun. Not just any gun, but a Splatoon gun. Not just any Splatoon-branded gun, either. It's modeled after the in-game gun! Sweet!
Remember these? They've been released, and now all six bobbing and walking Yoshis can be yours. I've seen them on YJA, so watch importers and ebay too!
Kirby plushes! Big deal, right? We have a million of those, right? Well, you don't have a Kirby plush like this! This set has little stars on their back that, when pressed, play a sound effect from the game! These will be in UFO Catchers in late May, so the best way to get the will likely be YJA.
Kirby Dance Song

Mario, Luigi, and Mega Man figures get a catty makeover, just like the DLC/bonus content in Monster Hunter. AmiAmi has the set up for pre-order, where you'll get all nine figures in the set. Coming from Capcom in August!
1. Mario neko series
2. Mega Man series
4. Rathalos neko series
5. Cook neko series
6. Kirin neko series
7. Furufuru neko series
8. Lagombi neko series
9. Zaboa neko series
Mother 1's characters already have a large figure set from Banpresto, but TOMY has scaled them down for some figure straps that will release in August. Crazy how close the sculpts are, but when you're working with clay source material, I suppose it's pretty easy, right?
In the set:
The characters look great in the game, now behold what they may look like in plastic. Yikes. Link is a mess, Zelda has red eyes, and who is the teenager dressed as Ganondorf? Hopefully these are just placeholder sculpts, or pre-approval prototype sculpts, because . . . wow.
San-ei has announced a second Super Mario All-Star set of plushes. The last one was all re-issues, but this set has three surprises. Toadette FINALLY gets an official plush, and she brings Boom Boom and Pom Pom with her. Also of note is a stand-alone Spiny, a Cheep Cheep, and a Lakitu holding a Spiny Egg. For his first release, Lakitu has the Spiny dangling from his cloud. The whole set is up on AmiAmi for the cheapest often and first so far.
So, if you want the power to pull the moon into the Earth, 6000 stars toward the Stars Catalogs of the UK and Australia can help you meet your goal! Wait, what? It's a LIGHT?! That's right, the eyes GLOW. It's less than five inches tall (12cm), but will be very coveted. Good luck, all!
GE Animation has done it again. First X, then Zero (out soon!), and now, Bass is on the way! If you can think of another plush that would in this line, go over to Rockman Corner and suggest it! Supposedly, GE Animation gets their suggestions from there!
Bandai has released info about a new Fire Mario version of the S.H. Figuarts Mario figure, complete with fireball. Pre-orders for Asia start tomorrow, in which we are unfortunately out of luck. However, Tamashii Nation's Facebook Page has already calmed us down by saying they will be imported and distributed here in the states! Boo, Koopa Troopa, and Bullet Bill will also come over in accessory set "D".
