So many awesome things in the book! I've learned a bunch of information that I didn't know before. :)

This has got to be my favorite part of the book. Too cool!

That was one of my favorite pics, too, hangia. Even if there isn't a ton of info about some of the older games, what is there is absolute gold.

I got mine the other day, and it is really awesome; such a detailed look at the series as a whole!
I noticed that a lot of people are complaining about how it doesn't feature the older games to prominently, but each game in the series is given about the same number of pages when it comes to the writing about each game and the stories of each one. It's only with the concept art that the book is skewed to the newer games, probably because it is more readily available.
Personally, I think this book is a great representation for the entire series, and is a great read for fans of the old games, the new games or the entire series.

I'm still waiting to recieve mine. I WANT IT NOW. :Ogre:

OH!! There it is! I've been looking all over for that artwork! Does it say anything about it in the book?
I've got a small shiny sticker with the same art, but without the Mario characters;

Doh! My order was canceled by Amazon.de, oh well. At least I was able to receive a copy of the CE from B&N.

Unless this picture is also shown somewhere else in this book, the only information about this is that the picture was used for a ''Character Comparison Chart'', which is what the translated title of the picture is. 8)

And, yup, I also received an email from Amazon.de cancelling my order, but at least they also gave me a 5 EUR discount code to purchase something else on their site.

Amazon.com pushed my order back, but they might as well have canceled it.

Amazon sent me an email last week saying they haven't gotten my CE in stock and there is going to be a delay. Today they told me that it was canceled and they gave me a $10 credit for my trouble.

When I got a representative on chat they said that Dark Horse canceled the order, and that Amazon never got a single copy of the CE in stock....

Stiffing the largest online seller of books. Seems like a good plan . . .

I'm more annoyed that they waited until now to cancel the order. I would have tried to get it from somewhere else. Now I'll never own it because I don't think it's worth $200+

I've seen several people around the internet who claim to have gotten their LE from Amazon, so either they're all lying or the person you talked to was full of it.

Had our order cancelled, too, even though we preordered on the 24th, a full day before it went "out of stock." I'm pretty upset by it, considering I had several opportunities to get it from other places but just assumed that our Amazon order would go through. It sucks royally, but I'm kind of over it. It's really ridiculous how much Dark Horse can screw up their LE releases every time, but at least there was a regular edition for me to actually read.

Pretty upset that mine was cancelled as well, but I got the regular edition so it's... ok.

I thought it was $69.99...that's what my local comic book had it for, and what I believe Dark Horse mentioned.

I've decided not to buy my LE for myself because of financial stuff, but if anyone wants it, I'll TRY to get it from the limited stock that Archonia has as long as they pay me in advance THE SECOND I can get it. They recently sent out a letter saying that they aren't going to get enough stock (after weeks of promising to fill all of the pre-orders) from Dark Horse, and it's "first come first serve." I don't know if it's whoever logs in first and sees it, or whoever pre-ordered it first. I know I'm not dead last, but I'm not first, either.

Message me if ya' interested. The current price for my pre-order is $49 EUR, I don't know about shipping. If you wanted to save, I might be able to ship it directly to you, I don't know. Cheers.

PS: Paying me for the favor might help. =)
