Decided to finally post some of the nerdily awesome Nintendo goodness I've crafted other than the Duck Hunt lamp. I'll keep it in links, since there's a fair bit!

I made a change purse out of an actual controller as well; unfortunately the hinges broke off. I'll have to fix it one of these days! Working on a few more nerdy things at the moment; here's an in-progress shot of a little something I ran out of beads for:

Those are terrific! Woohoooo for more iron on bead art, I'm starting to love those.

My favorites are the bullet bill at the bottom of the mario enemy earring set, the NES controller shoulder bag, and of course the Duck Hunt mobile. And what a great idea with the for a mobile!

You call that cake poor? Looks crazy hard to do, and it looks great IMO.

I think my favourite thing about the Kirby as Luigi thing is that his hat is removable, hehehe. Took me about an hour to get it made properly; and I still don't think it baked all the way through.
I was walking home from work today and a guy stopped me and asked if he could commission me for a shoulder bag, so I'll be making another (hopefully better than the first!) one sometime soon. I should also be able to get the beads to finish up most of the mobile within the next week or two, then I just need to put the whole thing together. I can't wait to see it when I'm done... not exactly sure what I'll do with it! I certainly don't need a mobile... I may sell it... or I may keep it and store it away for when I have kids!

And ontop of that, I just joined an earring swap, so if I get teamed up with a Nintendo fan, I may have more Nintendo earrings coming up as well!

That Duck Hunt bead art is looking great. I look forward to seeing how you turn it into a mobile, as I bet it will look very cool.

Also, your lamp was just an amazing idea and you executed it incredibly well. I love it.
