Am I the only one who keeps getting these? They're annoying and are making it incredibly frustrating to do anything on the site and forums. Just recently, I tried uploading some pictures to my Horde gallery, and it kept popping up. Is there anything that can be done to stop these errors?

Yeah, that's the main reason I haven't been uploading to the museum lately. Every time I try, I get hit with that or some other error.

This makes me so angry. I contacted my host and there are a number of things I need to do . . . all on my end. I have no time to do any of them. I'm still trying to get the site safe so Google can stop listing it as "compromised", and that has turned into a nightmare that never ends. I'm in the process of updating everything, and now they tell me I need to do a PHP update that could break everything.
So, either I get this site completely updated and rebuilt, or I have a life.

Well it's obvious...sell your kids, become a single hermit, and get this site done!

Seriously, I understand and although it's annoying, it's nothing more than an inconvenience we can all work through until the time is granted to repair it.

This is true. Usually a refresh is all it takes to get back on track.

But it's been especially bad lately. Sometimes I can't even get to the main page.

I have been getting the same error every once in a while. Refreshing fixes the problem, but it is getting annoying now. I can't even navigate through the pages without this error occurring. Hopefully nightram, you will fix the issue. :C

I have had this "compromised" issue with a work website (not a personal site so was a big worry to see it), the only advise I have would be what you are already doing, (get a webmaster google account and get them to scan the site I believe they call it Request Reconsideration on the webmaster tools) they will usually take a bit to get back and from there you can see the pages that google doesn't like.

The issue we had was injected IFrames which I removed by scanning all pages for the code and removing the iframe (seemed to hit a lot of js files so was easy enough to remove, was a joomla site) once done, I got google to rescan and the site has been clean since.

I also used http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/scanner/ to help detect pages that had the iframe injected. (some time sucuri found pages google didn't etc)

Anyway this probably doesn't help but I thought I would post my experience with removing the compromised and "This site may harm your computer" messages the latter being far worse as it was a pain in the ass that's for sure. Good Luck.

Thanks BrendanN, but we did a bunch of snooping this weekend. We are about ready to submit for a rescan.
We also finished all the upgrading and are now in process of optimization. Hopefully the 500s have already diminished some.
